The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 define the 'Workplace (WP)' as any non-domestic premises used as a place of work and includes any place to which persons have access while at work. Independent Health and Safety Advice (IHASA) can perform comprehensive workplace assessments using existing internal proforma or can generate, in partnership with the organisation, a form of assessment most useful to their undertaking. Following the workplace assessment, it is very important that a periodic review of the assessment is maintained. Especially if changes are made to internal or external layout of the workplace. There will be no obligation on you to commission the services of IHASA to assist in this periodic review, but all services associated with any recommendations will be available at very competitive rates. Also, IHASA can provide a 'competent person' retainer service with telephone or e-mail support if required. |
