ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION

Home About Us Services Back

Hopefully, with a properly planned programme of risk assessment and hazard control, there will be no need to investigate accidents because you won't have any.

Nevertheless, the odd mishap does occur every now and again. And whilst there is no legal obligation (yet) to investigate accidents, the recognition of the core reasons for the accident occurring in the first place will mean that there is far less probability that it will happen again in the future.

Independent Health and Safety Advice (IHASA) can perform a comprehensive accident investigation service that will provide you with a clear picture of the true reasons behind the accident and a written report of how to control the working environment to ensure (so far as reasonably practicable) that it cannot happen again.

Following the accident investigation and the resulting revisit of the risk assessments, there will be no obligation on you to commission the services of IHASA to assist in any further activity, but all services associated with any recommendations will be available at very competitive rates. Also, IHASA can provide a 'competent person' retainer service with telephone or e-mail support if required.
